Last updated: 13/10/2026

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or buy from Northern Quarter Press, why we need it, and the choices you have. We only collect what we need to run the shop and get your order to you.

Who we are

Northern Quarter Press is run by Northern Quarter Press LTD, 60 Grappenhall Rd, WA4 2AX. We're the "controller" of your personal information, which means we decide how it's used and are responsible for looking after it. You can contact us about anything in this policy at urbanmusebiz@outlook.com.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number (if you give it) and what you bought.
• When you pay: payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
• When you browse: information about your device and how you use our site, collected through cookies (see below).
• When you sign up to emails: your email address and whether you open our emails.
• When you contact us: whatever you choose to tell us, so we can help.

Why we use it

Sending marketing emails	Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time
Analytics and advertising cookies	Your consent, given through our cookie banner

Who we share it with

We share your information only with companies that help us run the shop, and only what each needs:

• Shopify, who host our store and process payments
• PrintShrimp, who print your poster and need your name and address to post it
• Delivery companies, who need your name, address and sometimes email or phone for tracking
• [Mailchimp / MailerLite], who send our emails if you've signed up
• [Meta], if you accept advertising cookies, to measure how our Instagram adverts perform
• [Google Analytics], if you accept analytics cookies, to show us how people use the site

These companies act on our instructions and must keep your information secure. We never sell your personal information.

Some of these providers store data outside the UK, for example in the US or Canada. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by UK government adequacy decisions or by approved contract terms that give your information the same level of protection.

How long we keep it

• Order records: 6 years, because HMRC requires us to keep them for tax purposes.
• Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe.
• Cookies: for the periods shown in our cookie banner.

Cookies

Some cookies are essential, such as the ones that remember what's in your basket. These don't need your consent because the shop can't work without them. We only use analytics or advertising cookies if you agree to them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link at the bottom of the site.
